“If enough funding can be obtained to make this project happen, then the Non-Profit American Eagle Foundation is very interested in being the primary partner and coordinator for the South Florida Eagle Nest Cam Project.”
SouthFloridaEagleNest.org is a website ran and managed by the non-profit group South Florida Pine Eagle Nest, Inc.
Through this website, we hope to bring awareness to the Bald Eagles in our very own backyard. By doing so, we hope to help promote conservation and the re-population of these majestic creatures.
Since Florida is one of the largest breeding areas for the Bald Eagle, the conservation of their Florida habitat is extremely important.
In order to continue the re-population efforts of the Bald Eagle, we at South Florida Pine Eagle Nest, Inc are focusing on educating our neighbors about one of the most fascinating animals in American history.
Over the years, many efforts and measures have been put in place to help restore the once thriving population of the Bald Eagle.
These efforts have been so successful they have helped remove the Bald Eagle off the endangered species list in 2007.
However, the Bald Eagles are still listed as protected by the The Bald and Golden Eagle Protection Act.
It is our goal to contribute to the cause by bringing awareness to the eagles, their nests, and what can be done to help restore the American Bald Eagle population.
We are focusing our efforts through this website and social media outlets in hopes to bring about enough funding to install an high definition camera above the eagle’s nest. This camera will serve as a live eagle cam to help further studies of Bald Eagles.
By helping monitor the eagles and their nest, researchers can gather information to help enhance their understanding of these beautiful birds that we share our world with.
Another goal of South Florida Pine Eagle Nest is to get the topic of eagle conservation into the school systems.
Through creating an interactive, educational, and fun website, we hope to share the photos and live eagle cam with students and children alike to help peak their interests.
This important research will also be documented and serve as a way for students to preform studies and research projects of their own.
By creating interest for eagle conservation in the school systems, we hope to bring awareness and funding to all eagle conservation and re-population.
Our goal is to get as many people involved as possible. The more people involved, the stronger our movement will become and the more help, support, and funding can be raised and dedicated to these very deserving birds.
None of this is possible without people like you. Please spread the word and keep sharing the important message we are attempting to spread.

It is both their and many others dream to see these animals get the funding they require help get the HD Camera to Install in the nest before nest season and allow the researchers to continue to gather information necessary to promoting their survival. We can’t wait to see all the Children in our Schools watching and Learning about our Eagles .
